Royal Observatory

Royal Observatory Greenwich is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the world-famous Meridian Line, longitude 0°0’ 0”. You can stand with a foot in each hemisphere on Meridian line, find out about the scientific discoveries that changed our understanding of time and space and see how the Astronomers Royal used to live and work at Sir Christopher Wren’s Flamsteed House. You can also enjoy a spectacular cinematic experience at London’s only planetarium, with breathtaking tours of outer space guided by real astronomers.

Lake District Adventure (Full Day)

This is our award-winning 10-hour / 190-mile Lake District Adventure tour departing at 9am from Liverpool (dropping back at approximately 7pm). It has been carefully designed with your leisure in mind. Laurel and Hardy Museum

The Museum started life as one man’s collection stemming from his lifelong love of ‘the boys’. Starting out as a few scrapbooks of photos, the collection grew over time until it filled one small room with pictures covering all the walls and even the ceiling.As the collection grew, Bill Cubin researched more about the lives of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy and found that Stan had not been born in North Shields, as was widely thought at the time, but his grandparent’s house in Ulverston.
